Corporates & agencies — plan a campaign across AWSUM markets

Corporates & agencies

Reach school-community parents across the markets that matter to your brand

Plan print and digital advertising around parents with household buying power. AWSUM helps corporate brands, franchise groups and agencies select the publications, platforms and locations that fit their campaign.

The audience

A relevant audience for household brands

The families following school achievements are also choosing vehicles, financial services, healthcare, technology, travel and products for the home. AWSUM places advertising alongside content with a personal connection to those communities.

Print run10 000Confirmed printed copies per regional tabloid edition. A print quantity, not a readership estimate.
Print run3 000Confirmed printed copies per town A4 booklet edition.

Publishing since2013AWSUM has published school news from communities across South Africa since 2013.

Coverage

What a planner needs to know

Combine regional publications, town editions, website banners, school news sponsorship and relevant social activity. For franchise and dealer networks, tell us the branch territories that need support.

ChannelWhat is bookableScale and timing
Regional editions Johannesburg North & West · Johannesburg South & East · Pretoria & Centurion · Western Cape · Northern Cape · Free State 10 000 copies per edition, per region. Achievers end Nov 2026; Top Matrics end Jan 2027.

Website banners Leaderboard, rectangle and half page on awsumnews.co.za, served to a selected geographical area. Guaranteed impression packages from 10 000 to 30 000 a month. Delivery confirmed for your area before booking.
School news sponsorship A defined area and group of schools, with category exclusivity within the agreed scope. Standard 12-month partnership. Areas and category availability confirmed against your brief.
Social campaigns Selected AWSUM pages, with LoveLocal options where appropriate. LoveLocal is AWSUM’s sister community title. Pages, post count and type, campaign dates and any paid promotion set out in the proposal.
2027 Wall Planner A standard position, or a position with category exclusivity, on a town’s planner. 15 positions per town. 1 500 copies per town. Twelve months of visibility from one booking.
School magnets Project-specific opportunities through participating schools. Available projects, quantities and timing confirmed on request. A school cannot be booked on demand.

Inventory changes through the year. AWSUM publishes school news from across South Africa; bookable advertising coverage is narrower than that footprint, and we identify any gaps against your requested markets before you commit.

Planning

Ways to structure a campaign

Planning examples, not completed client work. We recommend a combination based on your objective, budget and available inventory.

Regional brand

An achievement edition across selected regions, supported by website banners in the same areas.

Dealer or franchise network

Activity built around selected branch territories, using town editions and area-served banners.

Family-focused brand

School magnet projects supported by digital advertising in the same communities.

Your campaign proposal

Your proposal sets out the selected areas and channels, campaign dates or publication schedule, advertising placements and prices. We confirm artwork requirements, deadlines and any agreed exclusivity.

Campaign reporting

We agree the reporting for each booked channel before the campaign starts. Depending on the channels selected this can include banner impressions and clicks, social performance, print quantities and distribution updates.

School sharing is additional exposure and varies by participating school. Audience and delivery measures are identified separately so you can see what each figure represents.
